Biagio Adile

MIPS President

Dear Colleagues, I am very pleased to invite you at the III MIPS Annual Meeting that will be held this year on December, 10th-12th, 2015 in Ljubljana, Slovenja. Many international distinguished speakers are invited to present topics that, I’m sure, will give priceless contribution to the progress in the prevention and treatment of pelvic floor disturbances. I’m moreover proud and very happy to see the Meeting Chair dedication to the organization of our annual event. Adolf will surely offer an important opportunity to discuss about the latest advances in the management of pelvic floor dysfunctions. I really look forward to enjoy the Ljubljana conference and to welcome a consistent number of colleagues from every Mediterranean country. With Warm Regards.

MIPS Meeting Chair

Dear Friends and Colleagues, It gives me great pleasure as the Chairman of the Executive Board to invite you to the third MIPS Annual Meeting. The venue is the beautiful city of Ljubljana. The meeting will be held on 10-12 December, 2015 in the Culture and Congress Centre of Ljubljana “Cankarjev Dom”. Congratulations to our Host Chair, Professor Adolf Lukanovic who will definitely organize an excellent meeting to build on the outstanding success of MIPS 2013 in Noto, Italy and MIPS 2014 in Nîmes, France. Our scientific and education committees, chaired by Dr. Brigitte Fatton and Professor Fulya Dökmeci, respectively, will ensure that the scientific programme is specific to physician educational needs, training priorities and patient care in our Mediterranean countries. Similar to MIPS Nîmes, there will be dedicated live surgery sessions as well as the usual two sessions for podium and video presentations. I advise our young colleagues, whether fellows or residents, to use this opportunity to share their research findings with Mediterranean colleagues. Moreover, there will be two awards for the best basic science and clinical presentation. The two winners will receive free MIPS annual subscription for 2016 as well as free registration for MIPS 2016. As a distinguished leader in incontinence and pelvic floor care in your Mediterranean country, we would like to cordially invite you to attend our third annual meeting to contribute to our mission. This is an occasion to further the scientific interaction and friendship between incontinence physicians working in the Mediterranean region with a consequent positive impact on incontinence care and service delivery to our patients. Your participation in the Business Annual General Meeting of Members is very important to us because we want to listen to your views and ideas. Adolf, Natalia Trotta, our Executive Director, and I are very much looking forward to welcome you in Ljubljana in December, 2015!

Diaa Rizk | Chairman of the Executive Board

Dear Friends and Colleagues, It is my great pleasure and honor to invite you to the third Annual Meeting of MIPS which will be held this year in Ljubljana. We are proud to host experts from Mediterranean countries and all around the world and give you the opportunity to share experiences and discuss clinical problems in urogynecology. The aim of the meeting is to illuminate the trends and new approaches in the field of urogynecology. The topics are giving a broad view of the scientific principles and practical standpoints and new developments in this field of medicine. We will bring together clinical experts of different specialties, healthcare professionals from different disciplines and physiotherapists from different Mediterranean countries who will focus on the importance of the diagnostic protocols in the age of evidence based medicine. I am convinced that the lectures will introduce the importance of urogynecology and will encourage the international dialogue between renowned experts. Finally, the meeting will feature oral poster presentations which will allow young colleagues to enroll in presentation of the field of urogynecology from office to research. The local organizing committee is working hard to ensure a varied, interesting and exciting meeting programme. We aim to bridge the knowledge of the past with the ongoing rapid developments in the field of urogynecology and bring it to the Mediterranean region.

Join us! We are not far away, we are situated in the heart of Europe.

Adolf Lukanović, MIPS Meeting Chair
