Message to MIPS-SUFU members
Dear SUFU Members,
SUFU Foundation is pleased to announce the 2015 Grant opportunities. Applications will be accepted from residents, fellows and junior faculty for research projects pertaining to:
Study of Overactive Bladder and Urgency Urinary Incontinence funded by Pfizer
Study of Overactive Bladder and Fecal Incontinence funded by Cogentix Medical
Study of Chemodenervation funded by The Allergan Foundation
Study of Neuromodulation funded by Medtronic
The studies may be basic science or clinical in nature, with relevance to SUFU members. The principal investigator, co-investigator or mentor must be a SUFU member. The projects should be designed and conducted primarily by the resident, fellow (research must be substantially completed during training) or junior faculty submitting the proposal. The project duration varies by grant opportunity. After completion, the results will be presented at a corresponding annual SUFU meeting with manuscript submission to Neurourology and Urodynamics. Payment of grant will be in installments pending demonstration of successful progress of research.
The 2015 Grant submission deadline is September 15th, 2015. Based on the overall quality of the proposals, a SUFU designated committee will review the applications and grant funding by November 2015.
Please publicize this RFA to your interested residents, fellows, or junior faculty and encourage them to apply for the available grants by September 15th, 2015.
