The application is complete and the information satisfactory. The Center of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at the Policlinico Gemelli in Rome is a leader in rare urogenital diseases (Interstitial Cystitis) and a number of other complex urogenital conditions. The hospital has high capacity and has developed multidisciplinary expertise in the treatment of urogenital rare and complex diseases. The team has had previous network experience by collaborating with national networks in the urogenital diseases field. Medical expertise is present and is organized in a multidisciplinary team. The hospital is also involved in clinical trials on rare urogenital diseases and is a leader in the national health data collection in the field. The Center has also experience with patients from the other EU Countries and the significant number of patients with rare urogenital conditions seen each year suggests a meaningful contribution to the network.
